By registering for an account or using any part of the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.
1. Eligibility

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You must not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform, its servers, or any associated databases.

You must not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information during registration or application processes.

You must not use the Platform to transmit spam, malware, or any harmful or disruptive content.

You must not scrape, copy, or reproduce Platform content for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

You must not impersonate any person, company, or entity when using the Platform.
4. Trainee Accounts & Academy Applications

Trainees may apply for internships and training programs listed on the Platform. Acceptance is not guaranteed and is at the sole discretion of CodeMateRwa.

All submitted CVs and resume documents must be genuine and accurately represent your qualifications.

›
Submitting fabricated credentials or academic qualifications constitutes grounds for immediate account termination.

›
CodeMateRwa reserves the right to share trainee application data with relevant partner companies for placement purposes.

›
Interview scheduling and program placement are coordinated by CodeMateRwa staff and subject to available capacity.
5. Business Client Accounts & Service Requests

Business Clients may submit consultation and software development requests through the Platform.

›
Service requests are assessed and responded to by CodeMateRwa technical staff. Response times may vary.

›
A detailed proposal will be provided before any formal engagement begins. No charges are incurred from submitting a request.

›
Final service agreements, pricing, and timelines are established through separate written contracts outside this Platform.

›
Client profile data including company information may be used internally for service delivery purposes.
6. Intellectual Property

All content on this Platform — including text, graphics, logos, code, and design — is the intellectual property of CodeMateRwa unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute our proprietary content without express written permission.

Content you submit (e.g., CVs, project specifications) remains your property. You grant CodeMateRwa a non-exclusive licence to use it for service delivery purposes.

The CodeMateRwa name, logo, and brand marks are registered trademarks and may not be used without authorisation.
7. Google Sign-In

If you choose to authenticate using Google OAuth, you are also subject to Google's Terms of Service.

CodeMateRwa is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a partner of Google LLC.

›
We only receive your basic profile information (name and email) from Google to create your account.
8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding availability or fitness for a particular purpose.

CodeMateRwa is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

We do not guarantee that internship or training placements will result in employment.

We are not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party websites linked from our Platform.
9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at info@codematerwa.co.rw.

Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. Data deletion will follow our Privacy Policy.
10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Rwanda.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kigali, Rwanda.
11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent changes.

Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
